My Story

I am most passionate about learning; training and imparting knowledge to others only come in second.  A Manila native, I started out as a Training Specialist for DISH Network right after finishing a Bachelor's in Organizational Communications from the University of the Philippines.  There, I expanded my Training Portfolio, creating and implementing Accent Reduction and Culture Training, as well as English as a Second Language programs.

For 17 years, I continued to explore the Global Market for opportunities to study the psychology of learning and language.  While working in Dubai, UAE as an L&D Consultant, I was behind several transformational learning initiatives in global organizations such as Accor Hotels, Dubai Airports, Emirates Airlines, and ARAMCO.  Managing work and school, I pursued a Master’s degree in Development Communications—all while travelling and attending a number of speaking engagements in Global Training and HR Conferences.

My current role as Learning Program Manager for a Tech Company allows me to advocate for women in the workplace as I manage Women’s Leadership Development Programs, as part of the Inclusion and Collaboration enterprise.

I reside in the Greater Charlotte Area in North Carolina, with my husband, who is (if it is at all possible) a bigger fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers, than me.  Together, we serve at a local church and enjoy the mild weather only the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains can provide.  In May 2021, we officially launched ourselves into an entrepreneurial journey by establishing SALT (Strategic Alliances Learning and Technology), LLC—a training and development, media, and technology consultancy, whose vision is to help teams and individuals around the globe reach their maximum potential through the use of emerging technologies, inspiring them to become outstanding leaders in their communities.
