Leveraging the Power of EQ and EI to Upscale Organization Brand Value and Recognition

Every organization would like to pull up the curtain over the secret of the best customer experience. It's true, every business is run by customers, if there are no customers then there is no business. Emotional intelligence is a key ingredient in the growth of corporate leaders. It is such a capacity that is learned for identifying emotions. However, EI can be best described as the ability for monitoring own and the emotions of others. There are four domains of EQ which include;

• Self-management
• Self-awareness
• Social-awareness
• Relationship management

When these four domains are applied within an organization then it gives an exponential impact on success.

Self-Awareness:

The ability to understand your own emotions and their effect on the environment, on the colleagues, prospects, and on your overall job performance comes under the term of self-awareness. It is the name of the ability that helps you to decide the reaction to your emotions, and here, your leadership power lies. The more control you have on your emotions, the better leader you are.

Self-Management:

The way one manages and control own emotions and regulates and uses them for guiding own behavior for the positive outcomes is known to be self-management. Managing all this doesn't indicate that the negative emotion are suppressed, the individual is aware of them but he knows how to manage them and dictate his/her own behavior and not feelings.

Social Awareness:

Social awareness is the capacity for responding and understanding the needs of others. By improving the social skills himself, one gains the respect of others. When the individual is socially aware then he encompasses empathy, which is further cultivated by the creation of an environment of organization authenticity. Social awareness is crucial for the organization's success. By using empathy for understanding the pain points of the buyer, and storytelling the buyer about the benefits and features that he could get, motivates the buyer for action. But, it has to be done in a highly personalized and relatable way.

Relationship Management:

Relationship management is the cultivation of effective influence over others for helping them in decision making. Relationship management is highly important for all organizations for executing lead nurture strategies. As the identification, management, and analysis of relationships inside an organization are important, they decide the dedication of each and every other member of the team. The better it is managed, the better the chances are of growth.
