Sir,

I have few queries regarding PF kindly advise on the same

1.Is it compulsory on the part of employer to pay employee PF contribution?

2.While hiring employees off role(third party ), is PF deduction required ?

3.While restructuring the salary structure if the basic of employee changes i.e basic less or more than current basic will it affect ?

Hi Sakshi,

1. Yes it is compulsory.
2. If any employee salary is more then Rs- 15000. then it is not compulsory. If any employee salary is below 15000 then it is compulsory.
3. If you want to change basic salary then you need to change Basic more then 15000 per month. then only its reflect.

Kindly let me know the minimum number of employees requirement in a private limited company for implementing the Employee Provident Fund Scheme.
